The Research Planning and Development Office, with the aim to enhance the research culture in UNO-R, organized the first-ever University Research Exposition held last March 19, 2015 at the Corporate Hall. Five colleges participated in the said event: the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Criminal Justice Education, College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, College of Information Technology, and the College of Engineering. The different entries for Oral and Poster Presentations were judged by research experts: Dr. Renato Salmingo – the former Vice President for Research and Extension of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College, Dr. Carmen Menes – the Head of the Research and Accreditation office of La Consolacion College – Bacolod, and Dr. Mona Freda Secondes – UNO-R Director of Research Planning and Development Office.
