Former UNO-R Father Treasurer, Rev. Fr. Delfin A. Castillo, OAR passed away 02 July 2014 at the age of 68 of multiple organ failure due to pancreatic cancer. Interment was July 7, after the 9:30 am Requiem Mass at the San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish in Quezon City.
Fr. Castillo served the university in various assignments from 1979 – 1991. He had his simple profession on Sept. 7, 1968; Solemn Profession on Oct. 17, 1971; Sacerdotal Ordination on June 29, 1972. His religious assignments include San Carlos (1972 -1979); Bacolod (1979-1991); Talisay, Neg. Occ. (1991 – 1997); Spain and Talisay, Cebu (1997); Provincial House (2003). His last assignment was San Sebastian College – Recoletos, Canlubang Campus.
