Today, June 2 is the birthday of Fr. Prior, Rev. Fr. Constantino Real, OAR. Coinciding with the celebration is the blessing of the new refectory and kitchen of the Rekoleto de Bacolod Convento. Sidelights to today’s celebration was the memorable event during the mañanita (early morning harana), where one of the singers was hit by a “bomb” from one of the convent’s pigeons.
