A Press conference was held at the President’s Hall at 10:30 am on May 18, 2012. The activity was organized by the College of Arts and Sciences, in cooperation with the UNO-R@50 Publicity Committee.
Rev. Fr. Cornelio Moral explained the activities for the culmination of the celebration of UNO-R@50. Mr. Dennis Madrigal plugged his movie production – “Forever Yours.” While UCDO Supervisor Mrs. Mely Flores discussed the Urban Greening project of UNO-R and the Museum of Heritage Trees in cooperation with the Energy Development Corporation (EDC). Mr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr. gave the run through of the program on May 23, 24, and 25.Mediamen present were: Dr. Nonoy Lampines (The Vanguard);Mr. Seraphin Plotria (I-FM); Mr. Clarence Locsin (Bombo Radyo); Ms. Meniel Lopez (ABS-CBN) and Mr. Erwin Nicavera (GMA TV-10).
The activity was done through the efforts of Dr. Nieves Pepito, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
