Rev. Fr. Emeterio Buñao,OAR is the acting University President of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos, Bacolod City. He will sit in acting capacity from January 05 until February 26. UNO-R President, Fr. Dionisio Cachero,OAR left for Brazil to attend the OAR Renewal Course and will be back by the last week of February.
Fr. Buñao is currently the House Prior of Recoletos de Bacolod Convent and is also the President of the Recoletos Social Outreach Center in Brgy. Handumanan. He is also a member of the Provincial Council of the OAR Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno. At UNO-R, he is the Vice President for Administration and the Director of Scholarships.
Previously, Fr. Buñao has been assigned as President of the University of San Jose-Recoletos, Cebu City and has also been a formator in the Recoletos Formation Houses. He has also served as Prior Provincial of the OAR Province of St. Ezekiel Moreno in 2000 to 2003.
Meanwhile, Rev. Bro. Jaazeal Jakosalem, OAR is UNO-R acting Vice President for Finance. He assumed the post of Fr. Eduardo Celiz,OAR, who is in a Renewal Course in Spain.
