The UNO-R Administration will install into office the new lay administrators for Academic Year 2010-2011 in a simple ceremony on July 2, 2010 at the President’s Hall.
The new lay administrators to be installed are Mrs. Nieves H. Pepito, MAEd (Dean, of the College of Arts and Sciences; Mrs. Shiela P. Arnibal (Dean of the College of Nursing); and Mrs. Sol P. Abellar (Principal of the High School Department). Mrs. Pepito had served the College of Arts and Sciences as full-time faculty member before she was appointed Head of the Mass Communication Department and later as Head of the English and Mass Communication Department. Mrs. Arnibal has also served the College of Nursing as full-time Clinical Instructor and Level IV Chairperson. Meanwhile, Mrs. Abellar was a member of the faculty of the College of Education, a former head of the Filipino Department, and former Supervising Teacher of the 4th Year Education students.
The installation rites begin at 9:30 AM where Fr. Excel Saycon, OAR, University Chaplain, will give the Homage to God. Homage to Country will follow. Rationale of the installation would be stated by Fr. Walthrode Conde, OAR, Director of the Human Resource Management and Development Office. Meanwhile, Fr. Joel Alve, OAR, Vice President for Academics, will read the appointments while the new lay administrators will deliver their Acceptance and Statement of Commitment. Fr. Dionisio Cachero, OAR, University President, will give the President’s Message while Vice President for Religious Affairs and School Board Secretary, Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR, will formally close the program.
