The Office of the Vice President for External Affairs and Public Relations, in cooperation with the College of Education, staged Hip Hop High Season 2 on November 28 at the University Gymnasium.
The Hip Hop High Season 2 Champions in action at the center stage.
Students from several secondary schools in the Province competed against each other in their dancing prowess. Winners in the competition were Bacolod City National High School (Champion), Negros Occidental High School (1st Runner-Up), and Ramon Torres National High School, Bago City (2nd Runner-Up). The Champion received a cash prize of P15,000; the 1st Runner-Up got P10,000; and the 2nd Runner-Up received P7,000. Consolation prize of P1,000 went to each participating non-winning school.

Lorenz Jan Rodriguez, Joebal Brodet, Danny Vale, Herald Ponce Ballenas, and Victor James Lauron served as judges during the event. Dr. Mary Jane Uy, Dean of the College of Eduction, gave the Opening Remarks while Fr. Sixto M. Bitangjol, OAR, University President, delivered a message and awarded the winners. Fr. Antonio Limchaypo, OAR, VP-External Affairs and PRO, formally closed the program.
