The One hundred twenty seven new Licensed Professional Teachers celebrated their success in the September 2018 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) at the University Main Lobby, January 18, 2019 with the theme ‘’ The Legacy Lives On: United for Excellence. The Welcome Remarks was delivered by Rev. Fr. Ronel P. Gealon, OAR, RGC (Vice President for Administration). Fr. Gealon emphasized the core values (SIMPLE) of the University and told the new teachers to remain simple as they start their career in teaching. Ms. Josea Marie Marcella, LPT (BEED), Ms. Jian Rocyll Gallano, LPT (BSED English), Ms. Alvie Santibańez, LPT (BSED Biological Sciences), Ms. Erjane Magdato, LPT (BSED Mapeh), Mr. Ramon Dayatan, LPT (BSED Mathematics) and Ms. Vanessa Marie Murillo, LPT (BSED Filipino) shared their testimonies and success stories. Topnotchers Mr. Allen Jake S. Talimadao, LPT (9th Placer – BLEPT – Elementary Level) and Ms. Claire C. Magbanua, LPT ( 9th Placer – BLEPT – Secondary Level) delivered their testimonies and experiences and how they landed on the top 10. . They emphasized that it is not a success without a struggle to get this three letters LPT added to the end of their names. The program ended with the lighting of “Torch of Challenge” by Ceejay Pastrana, College of Education Governor and John Lloyd Belbar (Consistent Dean’s Listee, gave the message. (by: Johanne Bursky H.
