The day of the Order is celebrated at the university with a triple event: the 5th Catholic Faith Festival; Eucharistic celebration and the Opening of Christmas@UNO-R.

The Religious Education Department headed by Rev. Fr. Cristituto Palomar, OAR is sponsoring the 5th Catholic Faith Festival with the theme: “Enhancing UNO-R Catholic Culture in the Year of the Youth”, Activities for the day include Cosplay competition, Brain Challenge, Essay Writing, Poem writing, Poster-making, Belen and Parol-making and the Daigon contest. A talk by Rev. Fr. Raymond Asoy on the Filipino Youth in Mission: Gifted and Empowered at the gymnasium will be the peak of the morning activities. The activity was capped by the Celebration of the Eucharist led by his Excellency Most Rev. Bishop Patricio Buzon, SDB, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Bacolod at 4 pm at the university Park. Joining him were Fr. Palomar, OAR; Fr. Don Besana, OAR; Fr. Amado Lucero, OAR; Fr. Persiuz Decena, OAR; Fr. Jose Teodulfo Jadulco, OAR; and Fr. Walthrode Conde, OAR. Renewal of the vows of the Religious and members of the Secular Augustinian Recollect Fraternity (SARF) and Profession of Faith were done after the homily. The Christmas@UNO-R program was held at the main lobby and was opened with Daigon songs from UNO-R Schola Cantorum. DSA, Dr. Dexter Paul Dioso gave the opening message and launched the project for this Christmas. Fr. President, Rev. Fr. Don H. Besana, OAR delivered his Christmas Message after which, The Bishop; Fr. President; Engr. Noli Ortiz (UNOFELA) and John Lewis Pabilona (UNORSSGO) jointly switched- on the lights of HOPE at UNO-R. The program ended with the community song.
