The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) team conducted a monitoring visit to UNO-R Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Center on November 20, 2018, relative to its implementation of Bachelor of Science in Criminology and its application to offer Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management via the ETEEAP. The ETEEAP Program, as embodied in CMO No. 08 series of 2009 known as “Revised Policies and Guidelines for ETEEAP pursuant to Executive Order (EO) 330”, is an educational scheme which allows deputized schools to assess and give credit to knowledge, skills, and learning obtained by individuals from formal, non- formal and informal educational experiences. The CHED team assessed the existing status of ETEEAP programs of UNO-R and its application to offer Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management based on its standardized and comprehensive evaluation tools. Hence, they also recommended strategies to further enhance the program in the future. Moreover, UNO-R was deputized last 2002 to offer Bachelor of Science in Criminology. In the present, UNO-R ETEEAP is offering the following courses: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Criminology. The monitoring team members were Ms. Gloria B. Obcena, Mr. Efren S. Sucaldito, Dr. Gilbert R. Arce, Atty. Ramil G. Gabao, Ms. Ma. Cristina Aquino, and Dr. Bashiruddin A. Ajihil.
