September 10, 2018, – members of the Blue and Gold Alumni Association (BGAA), Golden (HS Class ‘68, Ruby (HS Class ’78) and Silver Jubilarians (HS Class ’93); National Service and Training Program (NSTP) and the U-Week Execom held its Blood Letting Program with the theme, “Give blood, give now, give often” at the Corporate Rooms. The activity aims to help sick people in need of blood. Mr. Lino Sumbillo, UNO-R Guidance Counsellor, and Dr. Angelus Diamante, BGAA President, initiated the program with Dr. Carmenda Leonoras, NSTP Coordinator. Mr. Sumbillo stated that out of the 63 people who registered, only 39 passed the screening. This charitable event was made possible through the cooperation of Amity Youth Volunteer, Office of Vice President for Student Welfare, university’s Medical and Dental Clinic and Corazon Locsin Memorial Regional Hospital.
