Thirty – five new lawyers were honored by the administration and the School of Law on the 70th day of the 7th month of the 70th year of the School of Law, at the President’s Hall of the university. It was also a tribute to the faculty. This 35 new lawyers passed the bar examinations under the administration of Rev. Fr. Eduardo Celiz, Jr., OAR triennium 2015 – 2018. The new lawyers from UNO-R School of Law are (Bar 2015) Atty. Aiken Alagban – Ladines; Atty. Niňo Jandy Calitis; Atty. Ericson Cepida; Atty. Josephine Ferrer; Atty. Giovanni Christian Ladines; Atty. Jimmy Navarro; Atty. Edda Opeňa; Atty. Angelica Rojas; Atty. Charade Circe Rubica –Sabordo; and Atty. Franz Marie Villanueva; (Bar 2016) – Atty. John Mark Camalon; Atty. Nicole Daipen; Atty. Jose Maria Doza; Atty. Joselle Lea Geopano; Atty. Racel Malalu-an; Atty. Marianne Therese Malan; Atty. Racel Marvin Olado; Atty. Ray Parreňas, Jr.; Atty. Eljun Rico; Atty. Gabriel Sinco; Atty. Jonna Sorallo; Atty. Hannah Lea Taňoso; and Atty. Analie Villa; (Batch 2017); Atty. Ivan Mark Amazona; Atty. Stephanie Grace Apsay; Atty. Rachel Cawit; Atty. Rena Ais Cerna; Atty. The tribute opened with the message of the Dean of the College and followed by the inspirational message of Fr. Celiz. Awarding of certificates of recognition to the new lawyers was done by Fr. President, Dean Villasor and Fr. Celiz. Each batch then had their responses. Atty. Rojas for Batch 2015; Atty. Marianne Therese Malan for Batch 2016; and the Reliquias couple for batch 2017. Fr. President, in his closing address, encouraged the new lawyers to continue the legacy of St. Augustine in bannering “Caritas et Scientia”. The Fr. President also congratulated the administration and faculty of the School of Law for their work in making the university’s philosophy as the foundation of their formation of lawyers with a heart.
