University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC) Integrated School Development held their Career Exploration “Room Tour Activity” for Grade 10 students as a part of Career Month Celebration at the University Gymnasium, 2:10 pm, July 24,2018. The whole month of July will be a Career Month Celebration. The Main objective of this activity is to help Grade 10 students, exposed to various occupational fields to aid them in their career decision making. Ms. Chris Feli Joy P. Tajonera, MSGC, RGC, Director of SDPC and Ms. Rigel Kate Y. Lamig, MAGC, RGC, Guidance Counselor, were the facilitators of the said event. The Aim of this activity is that by the end of the career month celebration 2018, the students will be able to make informed decisions about the Senior High School Track that they are going to take for Grade 11, secondly, to be aware of the significance of selecting SHS track and strand that will be compatible with their potentials, skills, and interests, and thirdly, to be aware of the different college courses and occupations related to the different Senior High School tracks and strands.
