The Daughters of Mary Immaculate International (DMI), Our Lady of Perpetual Circle, and the psychology department of the graduate school of UNO-R held a gift-giving, feeding and counseling program at the BJMP Talisay last July 15, 2018. Around two hundred forty nine PDLs (Persons Deprived of Liberty) participated in the activity. The group was warmly welcomed by Inspector Romeo J. Eyoy, City Jail Warden, JO1 Christine P. Jallorina, In-mate Welfare and Development Officer and other BJMP Talisay officials and staff. The DMI group was led by Regent Mila Olmido, while the UNO-R group was led by Dr. Evangeline Caper. Mayor Neil Lizares of Talisay provided lunch to the PDLs and treated the visiting group for lunch at the Nature’s village. The community outreach is an annual project of the DMI, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Circle. (Dr. Adelyn D. Sia)
