UNO-R 11th GOWNING AND PINNING CEREMONY FOR MEDTECH

The University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos College of Allied Medical Health Sciences and Medical Technology Department held their 11th Gowning and Pinning Ceremony on June 14, 2018 at the Oratory of St. Nicolas de Tolentino. 107 graduating students were donned with the gown and were given their pins. The ceremony started with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass led by Rev. Fr. Jose Alden Alipin, OAR, VP-Academics. Rev. Fr. President, Fr. Don Besana, OAR gave the welcome remarks and assisted Dean Sheila Arnibal, PhD; Ms. Fatima Medel, RMT, MSMT; and the parents in the donning of the gown and the pinning. This was followed by the turning –over of the notebook by Stephanie Claire Sarino, BSMT class of 2018 to Claire Harvi Cajipo, BSMT class of 2019, while turning-over of the Syringe was done by Sarino to Prince Andre Diagmel, BSMT class of 2019. Diagmel gave the closing remarks while the Interns’ oath was led by Joshua L. Mendoza, class vice president. The program closed with the Giving of the symbol of Love and gratitude to parents by the interns after which the alma mater hymn was sung.
