The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos thru its Recoletos Online Extension (ROLEx) Program continuously offers opportunities thru trainings, seminars and workshops on capability building to its Partner-Educators. One of the up-coming seminars is the “3-day Train the Teachers workshop on Creating Dynamic and Interactive Classrooms and Lessons for the 21st Century Learning using the Bahay-bahayan System and Philosophy” on May 18-20, 2018 – 9:30 AM to-5:00 PM at Mass Communication studio, 3rd floor St. Augustine Hall, UNO-R, Bacolod City. The facilitators of the said workshop are Prof. Ana Katrina P. de Jesus and Mr. Gian Carlo de Jesus. The aim of this seminar-workshop is to train Faculty and Educators on innovative instructional designs and learner-centered teaching methodologies using the Balaiwari proprietary principle and methods. Balaiwari learning methodology is an immersive, interactive, effective, and fun learning model that uses the flip classroom methods, bahay-bahayan principles, storytelling, and theater dynamics. A total of 50 participants will be accommodated on the aforementioned seminar on a first come – first serve basis.
