ADMIN HOLDS CONSULTATIONS FOR PROPOSED TFI

The University administration led by Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR and the UNOFELA held a consultation with students on the proposed 5% tuition fee increase for academic year 2018-2019 last February 21, 2018 at the President’s Hall. The first group to be heard was from the College of Law where Atty. Marian Camille Chavez of the Legal Education Board was present to observe the proceedings. The students through Sherwin Dalisay, President of the Barrister’s Club, agreed with the proposed increased. Present during the consultation were Atty. John Paolo Villasor; Atty Anabelle Palic; Atty. Mercedes Odango-Saril; Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague, CPA, MBA; Atty. Joselito Bayatan; Dr. Carlos Legaspi; Dr. Dexter Paul Dioso; Mrs. Ma. Judy Legaspi; Ma. Celcilia Mercado, LLB; Dr. Carmenda Leonoras, LLB; Dr. Annabee Claur, LLB; Fr. Reechee Espiritu, SDB; Mr. Dennis Udani, CPA; Charity de la Vega; Charles Balbin.

The second group were the Graduate School and Tertiary level. The proposal was made by Fr. Villaflor through the University Comptroller, Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague, CPA, MBA. The student body agreed with the proposal. Joining the consultation were Dean Ma. Riza Manalo; Dean Shiela Arnibal, RN; Dean Claur; Dean Owen Martir; Dr. Dioso; Dr. Legaspi, Jr.; Engr. Noli Ortiz(UNOFELA); Mrs. Legaspi; Ma. Lothel Alvarez; John Lewis Pabilona; and Trisha Clauor.

The last group was the Basic Education. The Pamilya Rekoleto and the Grade School PTA agreed to the 5% proposed Tuition fee increase. Present were Mrs. Lucille Montalvo; Mrs. Leila Magalona, MA; Mrs. Alon Song; Mrs. Catague; Dr. Legaspi; Dr. Dioso; Mrs. Legaspi; Mrs. Christy Samulde (Pamilya Rekoleto SHS); Mrs. Tayson (Pamilya Rekoleto); and Ana Rose Trocio, President of PTA

The last increase in Tuition fee was school year 2013-2014.
