The La Salud Vegetable Farm at the Recoletos Social Outreach Center RESOURCE at Purok San Ezekiel, Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City was blessed last Nov. 8, 2017. The activity opened with the ribbon cutting by Recoletos de Bacolod Prior Rev. Fr. William Villaflor, OAR; representative of Changshin University, Mr. Lee Woong Kim; RESOURCE – Handumanan President, Rev. Fr. Ronel Gealon, OAR with SARF-UNO-R President, Dr. Carmenda Leonoras. This was followed by the enthronement of the Image of the Nuestra Seňora de la Salud (Our Lady of Health). Mr. Aaron Kim Gil, RESOURCE Social Worker, read the brief history of the image and the farm. The image was enthroned with the assistance of Mr. Raymund Mariano, volunteer farm supervisor and Mrs. Elinor Mariano, RESOURCE Bookkeeper. The prayer was led by Mrs. Leonor Caňada, RESOURCE personel. The blessing of the “Payag ni Salud and La Salud Vegetable farm was led by Fr. Villaflor while Fr. Gealon gave the words of gratitude. A simple agape followed the ceremonies.
