Fifteen Distinguished Alumni Achievers were awarded last September 30, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, Bacolod. These are the alumni of the once Occidental Negros Institute and University of Negros Occidental and now the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos who have given pride to their alma mater through their exemplary performance and significant contributions to the society the Recoleto way, exuding the Tatak Rekoleto, the brand of excellence inspired by the charism of St. Augustine, the “Caritas et Scientia”.

Garcia, PhD, PCG – Government Service; Cirila Limpangog, PhD – Women’s Rights and Gender Equality; Yasmin Pascual –Dormido – Broadcast Journalism; Ma. Chona V. Gosiaoco – Social Communications; Wilfredo H. Salgado, CE – Structural Engineering and Design; Atty. Diane Jean Tinsay – Limtengco – International, Immigration and Family Law; Liza Socorro Juanico –Manzano – Geoscientific Mining Development and Environmental Geohazard Prevention; Dina Alanes –Genzola, PhD – Agriculture; and Ma.
