August 25 – After a family lunch at the main lobby of the university, the bowlers from each team hurried themselves for the tournament in Goldenfields Bowling lanes. The tournament was opened with opening remarks of Fr. Walthrode Conde, OAR, Human Resource Director of UNO-R while Fr. President declared the tournament open. The RED team ,led by Racheal Amparo with Leah Joy Hiponia and Isidore Vincent Adolfo, is the champion in the Family Day – Bowling Tournament 2017. Blue team and Yellow team got 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively while Green and orange got the consolation prizes. Blue team is led by Ma. Lina Macabales with Ma. Joselina Basa and Rodelyn Talapiero as assistants while yellow is led by Lilibeth Hablo with assistants Robelin Javier and Nona Garcia. The Orange team is led by Bismark Penascoza with assistants Shamynn Quilantang and Joseph Allan Tepino; Green team is led by Zonavieve Catalan with Joey Jolito and Barbara Cordova as assistant leaders. Individual top bowlers were Female – Shamynn Quilantang ( Orange); Lorna Cardiente (Green); Cristina Su-ay (yellow); Lilibeth Hablo (yellow); Ma. Lina Macabales (Blue); Rowela Roblico (Blue), and Rodelyn Caňada (Green). Male – Joey Jolito (Green); Rex Abibuag (Blue); Noli Ortiz (yellow); William Montaňo (Red) and Ferdinand Concepcion (Red). Special awards were given to Mariano Antenor (Blue) and Ernil Orbecido (Blue) – male highest pinning; Ma.
