Eight different beautiful ladies from eight different schools compete for the crown of Mutya ng NOPSSCEA 2014 at the University of St. La Salle Coliseum at around 6 pm. The competition starts with the Production Number in their Sports Attire and followed by the Evening wear and Question and Answer Portion. Candidate from John B. Lacson won the Best in Sportswear and candidate from University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos named Erna Torreblanca won the Best in Gown. Visayas Maritime Academy candidate spot the 3rd Runner –Up followed by candidate from University of St. La Salle for 2nd Runner up and STI-West Negros University candidate for the 1st Runner –Up and Erna Torreblanca from University of Negros Occidental- Recoleteos was crowned as the Mutya ng NOPSSCEA 2014. Erna Torreblanca was a fourth year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Business and Accountancy. (Richelle Dema-ala, BSMC Intern)
