CBA WELCOMES SIAP 5TH BATCH AND SENDS OFF 6TH BATCH

The College of Business and Accountancy held their welcome program for Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) 5th batch and the send–off for the 6th Batch, at the President’s Hall, June 28, 2019. The program opened with the prayer led by Mrs. Cristita Dayot, MBA, and program head of Business Administration. The rationale of the program was given by Mrs. Helen Jill Mattus, MEM, CBA SIAP Coordinator. She also introduced the 5th and the 6th batches. Fray Don Besana, OAR, university President in his message, welcomed the 5th batch and thanked them for what they have shown to the company while they were in their internship. He reminded the 6th batch to always pray and receive the sacraments in japan. He also told them to enjoy their being students. Tiffanny Trisha Villalva and Martie Muñoz shared their experiences in behalf of Batch 5 and thanked the University and Chuo Food Company for the opportunity that they have given them. Meanwhile, Fray Jose Alden Alipin, OAR, Vice President for Academics, gave his words of encouragement to the members of the 6th batch, who left last June 29. He reminded them that they are guests and visitors of a country not yours. You bring with you the image of country and the university. You have to be thankful to the previous 5 batches that they have done well in the internship program. He added that they all have to be friends and have to help one another, “walang lamangan, walang sira-an at walang iwanan.” Fray Alipin, OAR blessed the members of the 6th batch. OIC Grace Lopena, CPA, MBA, JD gave the closing remarks. The 6th batch is composed of Mary Carmel Panganiban; June Steve Barredo; Mharis Octavio; Francis Javellano, Jr.; Nick Andre Esconde; Aries Catherine Lausa; Venice Mirabueno; Christine Joy Aguilar; Nesseiah Jaen; Sharmaine Resuma; Lady Ann Devecais; Anyn Geille Javellana; Mary Grace Martizano; Adrian Samillano; Jonalyn Marande; Janine Dorado; Rezzel Cañete; Rose Ann Malunes; Charlene Libo-on; Alvin Joseph Tan; Scottie William Liza. They left Bacolod Last June 29 and will back on December 26, 2019.
