The President of the University of Negros Occidental –Recoletos and the President of the Kyoto and Ayabe Renaiss Hospitals signed a memorandum of agreementregarding the training of UNO-R College of Nursing Clinical Instructors in Japan. The MOA signing was held at the UNO-R President’s Hall last January 10, 2011.
Two members of the faculty of the College of Nursing, Miss Mary Lalaine Valiente and Mrs. Geraldine Ogapong, left for a six-months training at Kyoto Renaiss Hospital in Japan. The two clinical instructors composed the second batch of CI’s to travel to Japan for this purpose. The first four clinical instructors, Ms. Fanelia Villanueva, Ms. Azela De Villa, Ms. Rosario Abaring, and Ms. Arlene Vergara, have already completed the six-months training and are now back in the college to share with their students and fellow clinical instructors the special training and experiences they have gained.

BGAA turns over cash donation to the University
A Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the University and KyotoRenaissHospital in Japan in a simple ceremony on November 3 at the President’s Hall. The said memorandum provides opportunities for Clinical Instructors at the College of Nursing to undergo training and exposure at Renaiss Hospital in Kyoto, Japan for six (6) months.
