8 UNORians Successfully Hurdle Bar Exams

Eight alumni of the UNO-R School of Law passed the 2009 Bar Examinations given last September.  They are:  Romela T. Amarilla; Edward Joseph Causing;  Auxillador Avitus D. Dofeliz; Jufran Gamboa;  Elnora Orola – Abaygar;  Anabelle Palic;  Nelsie Patalita – Arcolas;  and April Joan Pico – Elumba.  They will be joined by Eduardo Padios (2006 Bar Passer) on the 28th of April for the oath-taking at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Chief Justice Puno Speaks at UNO-Recoletos

The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of the Philippines, Reynato S. Puno was the guest speaker in a forum held  entitled,  “Empowering People through Moral Transformation of Leaders” held at the Presidents’ Hall last Ocotober 12, 2009.

School Of Law To Offer 1st Bar Review

The UNO-R School of Law will be offering the first Bar Review Course, organized under the Recoletos de Bacolod Bar Review Institute, Recoletos Law Center.  This is the first cooperative venture between and among the law schools of UNO-R, San Sebastian College-Recoletos (Manila), and the University of San Jose-Recoletos (Cebu).
