THOS awardee Janna Mary Lagare, a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English student, will lead the graduates of the University of Negros Occidental –Recoletos during the 64th Commencement ceremonies today, March 20, 2010 at the UNO-R Amphitheater at 5 P.M. Lagare will be delivering the valedictory address. She will also be the recipient of the University Leadership Medal.
The College of Education is sponsoring the Inter-School Hip Hop High Dance Competition Season 3 on January 15, 2010 at the University Gymnasium.
Leading by one point, the College of Education (COE) of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos toppled the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and became the overall champion of the U-Week 2009 Literary Musical Contests on Sept 8 and 10.
The Filipino Department of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos will be holding Timpalak sa Likhang-Awit at Tulayaw, today, September 9 at the UNO-R Auditorium.

The College of Education Alumni Association held its 3rd Alumni Homecoming last February 28, 2009 at the UNO-R Auditorium. The whole day activity started with a Fun Run together with the PE students from the Provincial Lagoon and a Dance Aerobics at the UNO-R Amphitheater.
Three UNO-R coeds are this year’s nominees to the search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (Regional Level). They are Noami Eurice Channel Dimayuga (BSED-Math), Ralph Anthony Palomar (BSCS), and Anna Lorraine Bantugay (BSMT).
