Two UNO-R Alumni receive PRC Awards

 
Assistant Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and Head of the Medical Technology Department of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Marian Montinola-Eusoya received the Outstanding Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) at PRC Awards Night last June 20, at the Fiesta Pavilion of the historic landmark Manila Hotel. Chairwoman Leonor T. Rocero and Commissioner Ruth R. Padilla of the PRC awarded Eusoya. UNO-Recoletos Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and Vice-President of Student Welfare, Fr. Joel A. Alve, OAR and NOPSSCEA Executive Secretary Mrs. Feliciana Porter accompanied Ms. Eusoya.

Safeguard and PAMET welcome 15 new students to their Scholarship Program

 

Safeguard and the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) teamed up in 1989 with the common mission of improving Filipino health and hygiene. As part of their mission, they introduced a scholarship program to support the country’s most promising Medical Technology students and develop them into tomorrow’s healthcare leaders. With long standing commitment to promote good health and hygiene by transforming lives through a variety of health and education programs, the partnership has, to date, awarded over 200 underprivileged but deserving students with 3-year medical technology scholarships.

English Speaking Campaign Launched

 

The launching of English Speaking Campaign was successfully made last September 4, 2007 at the Amphitheatre with the support from our Vice President for Academics, Rev. Fr. Raul Buhay, OAR; in behalf of the College Deans, Mr. Elmer T. Haro; Director of Libraries, Mrs. Arabella M. Ananoria; and the UNORSSGO President, Mr. Ivan Roger Bullos.
