Chairwoman Leonor T. Rocero and Commissioner Ruth R. Padilla of the PRC awarded Eusoya. UNO-Recoletos Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences and Vice-President of Student Welfare, Fr. Joel A. The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos School of Agriculture reaped three gold medals during the 1st Regional Agri-related Conference held at Barotac Viejo, Iloilo last February 19 – 21, 2008. There were 21 schools who participated in the conference.

Safeguard and the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) teamed up in 1989 with the common mission of improving Filipino health and hygiene. As part of their mission, they introduced a scholarship program to support the country’s most promising Medical Technology students and develop them into tomorrow’s healthcare leaders. With long standing commitment to promote good health and hygiene by transforming lives through a variety of health and education programs, the partnership has, to date, awarded over 200 underprivileged but deserving students with 3-year medical technology scholarships.
