Freshman Students
The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos welcomes students who are willing to imbibe the values, mission, and vision of the institution. To qualify for enrollment as a freshman student, the applicant must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen.
- Must be of good moral conduct.
- Foreign students must have a student visa issued by the Bureau of Immigration
Applicants must observe the following guidelines:
Application Phase:
- Fill out the Student Information Form for Freshman Students [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Upload digital copies of the following minimum admission credentials to the Registrar’s Official Facebook Messenger [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]:
- Form 138 or School Form 10 (Report Card),
- Certificate of Good Moral Conduct,
- PSA Birth Certificate, and
- 2×2 colored picture with a name tag.
- Wait for the confirmation of your application that will be sent through Facebook Messenger. (Registrar’s Office assesses the physical condition of the documents submitted.)
If the application is confirmed, the applicant will be advised to enroll online according to the schedule set for new freshmen.
If the application is unsuccessful or is held pending, the applicant will be advised by the Registrar’s Office via messenger to re-submit the necessary documents through the Registrar’s official messenger.
Enrollment Phase:
- Registrar’s Office sends Student Personal Number (SPN)
- Pay enrollment fee, through our accredited banks and payment centers [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””].
- Send a scanned copy or picture of proof of payment to our Accounting Department [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]. Wait for notification via SMS after payment has been confirmed and verified.
- The Enrolling Officer facilitates the enrollment of the student.
- The system will send notification of official enrollment.
A student-applicant is considered officially enrolled only if he/she has submitted the required original, authenticated, and/or certified documents to the Registrar’s Office within the period specified by the University Registrar.

UISContinuing Students / Shiftees / Returnees
As a general rule, all students shall follow the load and sequence of courses according to the approved curriculum for each program of study.
A student who failed to enroll in summer for valid reasons and whose program of study requires enrollment of some courses during the summer term may be permitted to carry additional load units equivalent to the total loads in summer subject to certain limitations, without prejudice to the student’s overload privileges. Provided, that total unit loads must not exceed 30 units. Provided, furthermore, that the student is not subject to de-loading per program retention policy.
On the Job Training (OJT), Related Learning Experience (RLE), Student Internships, and Industry Immersions are not allowed for overloading.
All enrolling students must be guided by the following:
Continuing Students
Continuing Students refer to students who are previously enrolled in the University in the preceding term.
- Fill out the Student Information Sheet for Continuing Students [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Pay enrollment fee, including previous balances if there are any, through our accredited banks and payment centers [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””].
- Send a scanned copy or picture of proof of payment to our Accounting Department [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]. Wait for 2-3 days for the verification and confirmation of payment via SMS.
- Enrolling Officer facilitates the enrollment of the student.
- The system will send notification of official enrollment.
A digital copy of the student’s registration form will be sent through the student’s registered email address.
Shiftees
Shiftees are continuing students who shift to a new degree program.
- Fill out the Student Information Sheet for Shiftees [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- The University Registrar updates student’s new program.
- Wait for pre-evaluation results from the Department Head of the new program
- Pay enrollment fee, including previous balances if there are any, through our accredited banks and payment centers [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Send a scanned copy or picture of proof of payment to our Accounting Department [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]. Wait for 2-3 days for the verification and confirmation of payment via SMS.
- The Enrolling Officer of the new program of the student will facilitate enrollment.
- The system will send notification of official enrollment.
A digital copy of the student’s registration form will be sent to the student’s registered email address.
Returnees
Returnees are students who left UNO-R either by their own volition, or those who have discontinued their studies and have not enrolled in any other school after leaving UNO-R.
Pre-Enrollment Phase:
- Request for Verification of Returning Status from the Registrar’s Office [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Request for Verification of Returning Status from DSA Office [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””].
Enrollment Phase:
- Fill out the Student Information Sheet for Returnees [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Pay enrollment fee, including previous balances if there are any, through our accredited banks and payment centers [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””].
- Send a scanned copy or picture of proof of payment to our Accounting Department [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]. Wait for 2-3 days for the verification and confirmation of payment via SMS.
- The Enrolling Officer of the program will facilitate enrollment.
- The system will send notification of the status of enrollment.
A digital copy of the registration form will be sent to the student through the registered email.
Transfer Students
Transfer students are students who have enrolled in other colleges/universities (leading to a BS degree or technical course in TESDA schools) who wish to enroll in the University.
Application Phase:
- Fill out the Student Information Sheet for Transfer Students [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]
- Upload digital copies of the following minimum admission credentials to the Registrar’s Official Facebook Messenger [icon name=”external-link-square” class=”” unprefixed_class=””] for evaluation and processing:
- Transcript of Record (TOR) from the previous school. This has to be evaluated by the Dean of the College.
- Certificate of Transfer Credential (CTC)
- Certificate of Good Moral Conduct
- For RBGS only: Recommendation Letter from employer (if employed); from a previous Teacher (if continuing students)
- PSA Birth Certificate
- PSA Marriage Certificate ( for Married Women only)
- 2×2 colored picture with a name tag.
- Wait for confirmation of your application that will be sent through Facebook Messenger. (The Registrar’s Office assesses the physical condition of the documents submitted.)
