The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Major in Social Studies Program of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos aims to produce graduates who practice the teaching profession at the Secondary Level. The graduates of this program are Social Studies teachers who are competent in utilizing appropriate sociocultural and historical materials in explaining current issues; active in employing principles of sustainable development and community empowerment for the common good; competent in employing innovative teaching approaches, methodologies, and strategies using appropriate educational technology; and active in leading relevant and transformative changes to improve Social Studies learning and teaching.
