UNO-R MASSCOMM PROFESSOR RECEIVES PETER’S PRIZE Grand Prize

A Unorian endowment. Serafin Plotia, Jr. a UNO-R Mass Communication professor and alumnus took the grand prize of Peter’s Prize Excellence in Writing (Binalaybay sa Hiligaynon) organized by the Peter Solis Nery Foundation. The said contest is considered as the Palanca Awardee of Hiligaynon Literature. This year’s 6th Peter’s Prize was open to all Hiligaynon poets worldwide. All the participants wrote around 30 poems and were judged daily. Finally, all poets and writers, themselves, voted Mr. Serafin Plotria Jr as the best poet.
