“Aswang, Diawata, Tamawo, Maligno, Pugot and Bampira,” these were some of the characters portrayed with confidence and bearing by the Recoletos Educational Assistance for Deserving Students (READS) Scholars of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos during their first ever Halloween Night held last October 30, 2008 at the UNO – R Auditorium.

The Halloween Night happened for the first time in the history of the READS Community. Almost 300 student assistants with their horrifying attire filled the place making it more hideous, dreadful, and terrible aside from the horrible arrangement, sounds, and other effects.
