It will be a “Together as a Family” for the students and faculty members when CAS holds its Freshmen Orientation and General Assembly at the UNO-R Auditorium on July 9 and 10.
The first day will be an occasion for welcoming and inspiring all the members of the CAS family, especially the freshmen, and introducing to everyone the department heads, the committee heads, and the members of the faculty of English and Mass Communication Department, Social, Behavioral Sciences and Social work Department, the Natural Science, Mathematics, Pharmacy and Agriculture Department, and the Medical Laboratory Science Department. The second day will be for the orientation on AVP UNO-R Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives, and on the School Policies and Grading System. The Instructional Manuals for Physics and Biology will also be launched. Moreover, aside from the election of the new set of ASSC Officers for SY 2010-2011, the Pledge of Commitment of the elected ASSC officials will follow. Both the students and the members of the CAS faculty will present intermission numbers. The Freshmen Initiation will cap the two-day event.# |
