The Recoletos Industrial and Technological Training Center (RITTC) held its 2nd Graduation Ceremony on October 8, 2018 at the UNO-R Little Theater. Forty (40) trainees of Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA) scholarship program of TESDA finished their training at UNO-R in Housekeeping NC II and Food & Beverage Services NC II. Dr. Nena P. Samillano, Director of RITTC, welcomed the graduates and guests and was followed by a message delivered by the Vice President for Academics, Rev. Fr. Jose Alden B. Alipin, OAR.  Meanwhile, the congressional office represented by Mr. Mario Gerona conveyed a speech in behalf of Hon. Greg Gasataya, congressman of the city of Bacolod. In fact, twenty- five (25) graduates were endorsed by the aforementioned official. In the next part of the ceremony, the graduates were presented by their respective trainers namely, Mr. Kent Kevin P. Novillas for the Food and Beverage Services NC II class and Mr. Mario G. Caro for the Housekeeping NC II class. Subsequently, the training certificates, special awards, and TESDA National Certificate II were distributed to the graduates. The awardees of Outstanding Performance in the National Assessment were Riah Ann Esperancilla, Genel Christopher Garde, Joemark Gonzaga, Lolita Masada, Micah Mendoza, and Daryl Olmedo.  On the other hand, the best in butler service was awarded to Jemon Esteban, Joji Go, and Miguel Sison.    Afterward, Jemon S. Esteban from Housekeeping NC II and Lolita R. Masada from Food and Beverage Services NC II have shared their experiences, challenges, and appreciation to all the people who made the program possible. Lastly, Ms. Beverly R. Insular, Senior TESDA Specialist, gave her inspirational message by telling different stories from previous TESDA graduates and emphasized the importance of passion and perseverance in reaching one’s dream. The graduated trainees sang Next in Line as their class theme song. The masters of Ceremony were Elmeer Meeynard D. Calimpos, STEP/RITTC Staff and Fritzie  L. Ecot, TWSP scholar.  (RITCC news)
